Job Description: Responsible for overall activities of QA department. Overall responsibility of man power handling,Online inspection & Finish product testing. Review incoming raw material & broughtout item testing report & Its clearance to production. Calibration of laboratory equipment\'s. BIS license handling ( Inclusion,Renewal,New license). Overall responsibility of Predispatch & Third party inspection. Periodic review of BIS testing records.Liasoning with BIS officers Customer complaint analysis & handling. Responsibility for customer complaint recording, Root cause analysis, Discussion with concerned departments/customers, Implementation of CAPA, Effectiveness of CAPA etc. Competitors sample analysis & preparation of test report. Overall controlling of non conforming product. Preparation & Approval of purchasing specification. Evaluation of suppliers for quality rating. Responsibility of incoming raw material & finish product testing from independent laboratory. Prepare & communicate Daily and Monthly Quality information report to HOD. Ensure correct version of National / International product standards are in use. Conduct training related to Product, Raw Material testing. Implement new QC tools i.e SQC,SPC,5S in dept.etc.

Education: B.Tech (Polymer) /M.Sc ( Chemistry) / Post Graduate Diploma in polymer from CIPET

Experience: 8 to 10 Yrs

Supervision Received: GM Quality Assurance.

Supervision exercised: Executive QA,Officer QA ,Online & Finish product QA Inspectors, Engineers, Supervisors etc.

Skills & Knowledge Required: Management of Quality Assurance Department. Manpower Handling. In depth knowledge of Raw material testing, Preparation of purchasing specification,Supplier Rating,Product testing etc. Knowledge of various National & International product standards. Awareness of new QC tools i.e SQC,SPC,5S,Kizen technique,Defect Analysis,FMEA etc.

Attributes required: Overall controlling at work place. Work Process ownership. Work delegation. Writing effectively,Thinking creatively,Influencing people,Time management,Planning,Work delegation etc Good communication skill. Good relation with sub-ordinates and sound judgment. Good decision making power.
